Marlin 795 Trigger

Anyone know any smiths in the SF Bay Area that will do a good trigger job on a marlin 795. I just got one and feel like its kinda stiff.

For the money you'll pay for a gunsmith, get ammo instead, shoot them and I promise it will improve the trigger. Also, try to do some of the job yourself, you don't have to do all of them and some are easy to do even for a person like me who is not handy at all.

He also sells it on gunbroker for a little less. I've got a set on order, and it gets rave reviews on rimfirecentral. Also the DIP trigger guard & trigger are very nice and let you take most of the pre/post travel out, and at least in my experience reduce felt trigger pull just from the shape of the trigger.
