    ATTENTION GSG 1911 owners!!

help me solve my dilema! so i found this barrel bushing combo that makes it look like an extended slide.

but from browsing the internets i found out that the usual force for cycling a .22 bullet is 8 ounces. i cant pick up my gsg 1911 til wednesday but id like to know from anyone who has one, how much does the whole slide assembly weigh? since its aluminum and has some plastic and steel parts im hoping it somewhere near 5 ounces, if thats correct then i should be able to just install that new barrel bushing and it should cycle fine with HV ammo right?

I think you are confusing force versus mass.
