Love my new SR

I checked last night after work and it seemed just fine with mine. Maybe its just a break in issue. I just tapped the mag with my palm and it locked right in.

What I'm saying is it takes more effort to get the magazine to lock in place with the bigger grip, with the smaller grip it locks right in really easy, so you really need to pay attention to get the magazine to hold in place when using the bigger grip, I'm going to try and take off a little material on the bottom of the grip where it contacts the magazine so it will lock into place easier.

Gotcha. I'll try and check again to see if mine does that. When i checked last night, both mags locked in easy with both size grips. I'll double check.

I like all the ruger love. Loving my sr22 too. Shoots nice! With an occasssional ftf which is the ammos fault not the gun. Shoot the crap out of that thing and just remember to clean it good.

I pick mine up on monday, I've read that the grips are a bioch to remove, any truth to that?
One of the main reasons I got this was because it will allegedly eat any ammo. Has anyone had problems with a specific brand?

Yeah mine hates Winchester bulk, 1 in 5 was a FTF or FTE. no issues with blazer or Remington ammo yet
