Truglo red dot for ruger MKIII?

I just ordered a truglo red dot sight for my Ruger MKIII target pistol. I did my research and had it narrowed down to the truglo and Burris and chose the truglo. Does anyone have any personal experience with these sights and can offer any comments good/bad? Hope I made the right decision.

I ordered a Truglo red dot for my MKIII 22/45. 40mm tube one of the cheaper ones. Once I mounted it, it just seemed too big for the gun. Nothing wrong with the sight I just didn't like the way it looked on the gun. I took and put it on my 10-22 and I love it on there. It zeroed in real easy and it stays put.

May I suggest something? I have a Primary Arms Micro Red Dot with fixed base on my MKIII 22/45 and let me tell ya.. It's absolutely AWESOME. It sits low to the rail and the tube is small. 3 or 4 MOA dot, I forget, but it's crisp and it HOLDS ITS ZERO under heavy fire. Made in China, however out of all of the inexpensive dots that I have tried, this one seems superior BY FAR. And it just looks so prefect.

Tasco Red Dot for $32 on Amazon is an amazon deal as well. I've had one on my 10/22 then my mom's 10/22 (turned mine into a target rifle with a 3-9 scope) for 6 years now and it still holds zero and works flawlessly. built like a tank and just an awesome sight for a 4-5 MOA dot. I think it's on it's second battery maaaaaybe third.

I have a TRS25 and love it. I like it way better than the truglo, lighter too.
