Smith Wesson M&P 22 pistol

Anybody have any thoughts on this particular 22lr pistol? Its size is almost identical to its M&P centerfire line of pistols. Its not listed on DOJ (I look quickly) but I'm exploring 22lr pistols. They do come with 10 round mags so Im hoping SW gets it CA approved. Any info is appreciated.

Find a 07ffl and they can do a single shot exemption and you can purchase it

All I know...

S&W contracted Umarex to make them a .22LR of the M&P series of handguns.

S&W M&P series parts are not compatible with it.

Trigger pull is different because it's a DAO with an internal hammer hidden under the slide and is not striker fired.

Also, the S&W M&P-22 is an assault weapon due to it's threaded barrel.

s&w 22

my brother just bought a s&w 22 shoots great , he put a red dot on it and its a blast to shoot ... eats up everything you throw at it ... my lil ruger sr22 is a lil more confortable tho .... at least in my opinion ...
