????bullet button on a ar15-22???

    ????bullet button on a ar15-22???

    Im intrested in building a ar15 lower with a dedicated 22 cmmg upper do u still have to run a bullet button on this setup? It is consider a rim-fire rifle still right?? any input out there??

    You don't need a bullet button when you have a dedicated .22 upper. It is considered a rimfire weapon. BUT if you decided to swap out the upper for a center fire one, you'll need the BB.

      Also, using a high cap 22lr magazine makes it an assault rifle. 10 rounders only.

              You do not need a bullet button for rimfire firearms.

              Wrong... If you LEGALLY own a high cap .22LR magazines you may use them.

                    i have the Spikes Tactical .22lr, ST-22, a dedicated .22lr AR; it is marked "22lr" on the lowers.

                    when i purchased it, i also purchased a BB and a 5.56 upper to go along with it...
