What sling mount are you guys using?

I found one but it's recommended for wood stocks.

I used this 10-22 sling mounting kit from Uncle Mikes. Took about 5 minutes to do and fits and looks great.

I went a slightly different route because I don't have the barrel band on mine. I used the wood screw type in the back and a machine screw type in the front. There are plenty of voids in the front of the stock under the barrel where you can put the nut for the machine screw type. I used some Devcon epoxy on both swivels screws to make sure they didn't loosen up over time.

There is a way to do it with a id you decide that you do not want to drill the stock. One of these between the screw on the barrel band will work. You should be able to locate one from a vendor instead of purchasing on efrom ebay if you dislike them. Once installed you would then just attach a sling swivel to it. There is a way retain the barrel band, have the barrel floated in the stock, and not have the barrel band touching the barrel. This can be done without sanding the inside of the barrel band in the area that goes around the barrel. When the band is secured on the stock you can have a sling and swivel attached to it and not have the band touching or putting any pressure on the barrel. This way you can retain the factory carbine look and baffle your shooting buddies!
