which ruger, there is a version that has a pict rail on the top. Generally the CenterPoint work Perfectlly!! depending on the stock you will need either high or medium rings, if you have the regular try medium since the comb of the stock drops off a bit. The rings you will need a "Tip Off/Dove Tail" style (opticsplanet has them), regular rings tend to walk a bit (meaning come loose), so many of us use these rings (Leapers Accushot 1-Pc Mount w/1 Rings, 3/8 Dovetail and Tip Off are the same thing). Many of us on this forum use the Leapers, for $14 bucks you cant beat it.

Dnz mounts are light, streamlined, rugged, 1 piece mounts. $50 which at first sounds high to some but when adding price of accessory rail and rings, your close and certainly a cleaner product. Less screws and places for movement and loosening.

+7 on the DNZ Mounts. I have 7 of them on a variety of rifles including one on one of my Ruger 10/22's.
