So I just mailed out the $11 for the Sam hammer bushing. The MKIII Accurizing kit will still allow me to disable the LCI and use a filler?

I just noticed how I originally posted that I was going to keep the handgun in stock condition...lol

That's what I have. I bought the Mark 3 accurizing kit from Midway when it was on sale. Disabling the LCI is a separate thing and the accurizing kit has nothing to do with it.

There is almost always some kind of tweaking that goes on with these Rugers! Keeping it fully stock is almost unheard of!

Got it. Ordered the MKIII accurizing kit and an LCI plug from a member on Rimfirecentral.

I think I am GTG for everything now. Just need the gun to come in to start the paperwork on it.

You gonna still need the MK III hammer bushing. The LCI (most likely from Bruce P.) is a separate issue. Getting the hammer bushing will enable you to eliminate the magazine disconnect, this will help with the trigger smoothness.
Sam Lam produces an excellent Mark III hammer bushing.

Probably inhaled tool much lead fumes, just got back from the range, shooting my Mk III competition for which ammo it likes. It seems to like the Wolf Match Extra the best.

Was able to finally DROS the gun today after work. Looking forward to taking it to the range in 10 days.

Congrats. I am waiting for my tax refund so I can get me one of the Mark IIIs. Perhaps the cheaper model Mark III Target blued model, bull barrell 5.5 inch. This early, I am already planning on-------repainting it with the red,white, & blue colors of the flag--LOL.

My friend and I were at Turners this morning, I was there to pay off a 10/22 and decided to fondle the target 22 handguns. Big Big mistake as now I need a stainless fluted mark III Hunter. Absolutely beautiful... I also fondled an aluminum Browning Buckmark, Also beautiful. I think we need both...

I saw some threads pop up about adjusting the Ruger MKIII mags to get them to feed all kinds of ammo. Have you guys had to do that with yours?

They already feed all kinds of ammo
