MATURITY... do some ****ing research. go check out my thread on 17hmr forums. simple fact is. you just spouted **** about integrity and then said i didnt do something when i actually did MULTIPLE TIMES. sorry im in school and too busy to post things on multiple forums. and no i want to make a .17 that CAN make it that far accurratly, not that does it better than everything else. you guys take everything to extremes without even looking at what it is. my title of the picture thread said 800 yard SHOT and you expected a group? who lookes like the Immature one now if you cant even look at a title and understand it. and if i cared only about agreement i wouldnt be posting still. im just really sick of peole acting like they know everything there is to know about anything. the simple fact of the matter is, nobody does...

so many people in this thread have taken out of context what i said that its completely rediculous. to the few of you who stayed objective thanks.

Izzy43 you have lied in this post by not getting all of the info and pretending you did. before you talk about how i shoot why dont you go look up all the evidence on .17hmr forums. there are pages and pages of range updates. seriously. ive even said to check it out before.

everybody, a couple threads is not a measure of who someone is. and if you truely believe that, you really need to understand this is the ****ing INTERNET. not some high class gun club. I never judge someone based on just that.

the amount of NEGATIVITY on this forum is astounding. I bet most of you can even agree with that general statement without it even relating to you personally.

The facts are that one out of 15 shots was able to hit a 72"x72" taget at 800 yards, 1 out of 15 doesn't mean anything to anyone except you, golden BB shot stories are a dime a dozen. Now, go prove that you can consistantly hit the target and group in the 6moa range and most of us will be impressed. Until then, your one hit out of 15 won't be seens as any kind of accomplishment by anyone who knows anything about precision shooting. I'm not trying to put you down, I'm trying to explain the facts to you. I'm also trying to encourage you to keep trying. You might be on to something. Once your head shrinks back to it's normal size and you mature enough to understand just how immature you are acting, you'll understand all this. Until then, you'll just keep proving to everyone that you have a lot to learn and a lot of growing up to do. Sorry but, sometimes the truth hurts.

Seriously, you need to grow up, kid. Maybe try posting calmly without trying to insult people in the process.

The title of THIS thread said "true test of 17hmr's Max Range" so I think people were expecting something better than a wonder-shot lobbed at a massive target "mortar" style. Personally I would expect to see more than a single hit out of fifteen as "results". Heck, even a second hit would prove that it was at least a little more than pure luck. It was said before in this thread, but you did nothing nobody else could have done, some in a fewer some in a bit more shots fired, but nothing special.

One thing you need to do is grow up a bit more, and check your attitude before you go off calling people fools in your first post. I guarantee you that if you had been more respectful in the first post you would have gotten less than half the hostile replies, and you have done nothing to help yourself by insulting people in every reply.

At this point my only suggestion is cut your losses, move on, stop insulting people in this thread, and go back and do it again, consistently. Something to show that it can be done more than once out of 15 tries would probably help your cause as far as "proof" goes.

I highlighted in red, something you said in your reply, and hopefully someday you will realize that the same saying includes you.

Hey Spence, I too thought the Internet (not just this forum) was full of negativity ... but then after getting proven wrong a couple times, I grew up (I'm a quick learner ) and realized how totally wrong I was. Spencerk.... the "negativity" being expressed here is a direct response to your initial insults to all who read your post. things are always easier to say via internet, but imagine yourself walking into a room with say fifty guys in it and making a statement that contains a series of insults aimed at everyone in the room. I pretty sure you would choose your words a bit more carefully. you can't see that you took the wrong approach in trying to make your point? you have as much right as anyone else to post here with your thoughts and ideas, but don't use your post as a medium to slight others. ANYONE else who took your approach to making a point here would encounter the same "negativity" as you are...
