I have a 60 that I have been wanting to take out to a Appleseed event, I just need to find one locally.

What do they have you do for the mag change since the 60 is tube feed?

Mag insertions/changes were simulated by loading up the tube with 11 rounds instead of 10, and leaving the brass tube partially out and unlocked.

Upon the "fire" command, you have reach up to lock down the brass tube, then commence firing.

The required mag change, after 2 rounds fired, is simulated by having to reach up and eject an un-expended round. It takes up a bit of time, and throws you off a bit necessitating you to reacquire NPOA.

Sounds like you had a great time and did very well. Congratulations on the "Rifleman" badge.

If the location in your profile is correct, then the closest Appleseed location is at Sloughhouse southeast of Sacto, which is a beautiful range. See:

They shoot once a month up there, lots easier to get into than the Castro Valley shoots, which are selling out two months in advance.

Thanks, I checked the Appleseed section and found the locations. I was at Sac last weekend for a class put on by Gray Ops. That is a nice range.
