thread my barrel?

so i did a few searches but couldnt find much... i have a remington 597 .22lr that im kind of thinking about doing a little tactical setup on. my question... is there anyone here on cal guns that would be interested in and capable threading the barrel for a flash hider muzzle break sort of thing?

basically who has a machine shop? haha

i actually talked to one of the guys at gunrunners and he has a machine shop. said he would do it for 75 bucks... seems a little pricey but i dont know.
