    Did I fire 9 shots or 10?

I'm a big fan of Ruger so purchasing a single action 22lr that can fire 10 shots was a no brainer for me. I have a Ruger MKIII, 22/45, a Kimber 22lr conversion and the Single ten is hands down my new favorite 22lr pistol. The fit and finish on this revolver is superb and the laminate grips are beautiful. Accuracy wise this thing is dead on. The fiber optic sights were nice and bright which made for a great sight picture. It was easily out shooting my Kimber conversion and was on par or better then my MKIII. The trigger out of the box wasn't bad but i decided to do the poor mans trigger job which made it perfect. I haven't taken it out since the trigger job so i'll have to wait until this weekend to see the results. I have plans to visit angeles this weekend and I think i'll have a blast on the pistol silhouette range.

*Details about the poor mans trigger job is located on gunblast.com

I'm glad you like yours. I got one in December and love it, but it's at the gunsmith getting a trigger job (I don't trust myself to do anything but shoot it and clean it!).

Have a great day at the range!

Is it larger than the Single Six? I really like the idea of the USFA 12/22 because it is a .22LR in a full-sized SAA.

I think the Single Six and the Single Ten are the same size. The Single Ten is really fun to shoot. It was my first gun, and I thought very hard about which revolver to get, and I'm very happy with my choice. I've put about 1500 rounds through it before the trigger job. I can't wait to get it back from the gunsmith.

As the thread asks, did I fire 9 shots or 10? In all of the fun, sometimes I don't remember.
