    Scored On Old Iron

Came up on a Glenfield 75C rifle and Glenfield 4X15 scope combo squirrel dispatcher. Very nice limited edition carbine in excellent condition. Wasn't looking for a .22 but this was nice, pretty, not too spendy, old. Any opinions on value? PAX

      $100-$120
The thing with firearms is that they are not like any other consumer product, simple ownership of one carries a lot of responsibility.

We all made fun of the Squirrel when we were young and stupid,
now I would love to get that rifle just because of the pressed in Squirrel.
          Cool rifle!

I had one of those WAY back when---it worked well and was a fun shooter---I think about $120 also---only because it looks very clean.

check out some of the auction sites, seems more like 75-85$, closer to 100 retail though

lately the price of those have been going up. Ive seen several go for over $130. they have the 18 round magasines. I have several and yours is mostly like the model 60s. only its sights are differant. if it were me tho Id take the scope off and replace it with something that has glass lenses. those had plastic lenses and will yellow with age and scratch easily. even a 4x Sportview will make a big differance.

Mine is about middle of the table. I took it in trade for installing a disposal in a ladies condo. now one of my middle sons is shooting it.
