scope for my new cz 455 combo

I got this fro Christmas and I need a scope. It has two barrels, one 22lr and one 17hmr. I'm having a problem deciding on what to get for it since there is such a huge difference in caliber. will this be WAY to much for the 22

Here is a little bit better price: http://www.adorama.com/SW688M.html

A couple of important things that I couldn't find listed.

    1. What is the minimum focus range of the Adjustable Objective.
    2. What are the maximum adjustments for windage and elevation.

The magnification of the scope should be fine for both .22 and .17HMR however for target shooting you may have problems seeing your .17 bullet holes at 100yds and beyond. I use a 24X on my 17HMR in order to see the holes at 100ydsbut then I have old eyes.

I would spend just a bit more for either a Weaver Classic V 4-16x42 (V16) or 6-24x42 (V24). Weaver makes great scopes and gives a a lot of bang for the buck. The V16i s going to be a bit better for plinking while the V24 is going to be better for target shooting. My favorite affordable target scope is a V24 they have very good glass and are durable. You can look here to see where it sits in the scope food chain.

I feel the need to have a really fine reticle for small objects at long range. Old eyes too.
