Savage 93 / Mark II Owners

I have heard that the newer Mark II's and 93's take the same scope bases / rings. Anyone know for sure? I have a Mark II in jail and wanted to order a DNZ Gamereaper Mount for it. DNZ Website states that it fits the 93 and some Mark II's. Thanks for the info.

My 93fvss came with a two piece weaver mount. Im sure your wouldn't cause to much trouble if it doesnt fit.

Yes, the 93's and current (last few years) of mark 2's take the same, longer base. The old Mark 2's took a short base. The old, short base is for an 1 3/8" long ejection port. The current mk2's and 93's are on the longer action, I think the port is 1 5/8" or so.
