    Sig take offs

I just got a sig a couple months back and decided to replace the handguard to the samson rails and stock to the magpul moe.
Was wondering are the original handguard and stock worth anything? Should I bother trying to sell or just keep them.

I checked on cogunsales.com and seen the Collapsible Stock, Swiss Style for $200 and the classic handguard for $85. Are those the same as the 522?

    Thanks for any help.

Also a pic of how it looks now for those curious.

The original 522 collapsible/folding stock that you have pictured should not be confused with the "Swiss style" Sig Folding stock. The Swiss-style folder, available directly from Sig for $160.00 shipped, looks entirely different. Here's mine with the Swiss stock:

Some of the guys with the pistol version of the 522 want the original folders for SBR conversions, but the stocks don't sell for a ton of money; most go in the $100.00 range - but you've got a green one and that may or may not add to its value. Most buyers are going to want all of the mounting hardware (i.e. the machined, 5mm stock pivot pin and washer) to be included with it - I don't know if you had to use those to mount your new stock or not.

Can't speak for the forend... again, you've got a green one but that may or may not mean anything. Alot of guys switched over to the "Fishgill" forends early on. $85.00 for an original, used forend (even with the rails) seems a bit steep.
