      Yes, the mag is plastic/polymer. It's pretty hefty feeling though, it wasn't thin or cheap feeling. The entire body sans the stocks are metal and the stock was 100% wood. I was quite impressed with the construction, it wasn't toyish like other GSG rifles.

          Hasn't Walther been making a working semi-auto version of the STG 44 for quite some time now? They were tremendously expensive if I remember correctly.

          How much do these cost?

              there was what was called the PTR44 here in the states, and yes they were stupid expensive. PTR only imported circa 200 IIRC.

              Not sure if it was Walther who made em, but they were German made.
