    UTG Commando sling mounting?

Hello folks. Today i bought another 10/22. The first one was last week for my wife and i just had to have one.

My question is simple, but i guess I'm not wording it right on google or in here on search. Is there a hole in the bottom of the UTG commando for a sling mounting stud? My wife has the ATI Strikeforce and the front rail has a slick system for putting a sling stud in there. I'll be using the factory stock and would like to do something similar. I would also occasionally use my bipod there too.

I know there are bipod mounting adaptors with a stud in the middle, but I'd like to keep it as low profile as I can when the bipod isn't on there. I've poured through the pics here, but can't really see any examples with slings mounted in this way. I could easily be missing something with the number of pics I've looked at. Eye's getting buggy.

Thanks for any input the utg users have on this.

I am using a factory stock and ordered a utg quad rail for it. I am just wondering if there is a hole on the bottom rail like the one on the ATI stirkeforce. I guess i'll find out when it gets here , but supposedly i may have a while to wait. Thanks for the link but this build will be on a factory stock. The factory stock fits me nicely and i just want rails to put a light and red dot and occasional bipod at this point. A sling is required for me, so that's the priority at the moment. I'll figure it out when the rail arrives.

I use one of these on my Commando rail and a bipod mounted at the same time, they both fit on the bottom rail.

          Thank you!

That's good info right there! Exactly what i needed to know. My plan is, since i am waiting for the rail anyway, to try a bipod adapter first with the sling attached to the stud on my bipod..if that seems too far forward i'll try your suggestion and if that is too far forward i'll drill and screw a stud in. I ordered the bipod adapter since i didn't have any info yet...now the quad rail appears to be backordered for a couple of months??? It's amazon, so hopefully it will get here pretty soon. Nothing stopping me from enjoying it in the meantime..lol.

As long as the sling is adjustable, I don't think you will have a problem on how you want it mounted. Hope you get your rail soon. Here is what my Ruger looks like with the rail.

The rail is out of stock still. I am getting pretty anxious, since i now have a red dot, a compact 3-9x32 scope, a flashlight, laser, bipod adapter and bipod waiting for places to live. Also, my trimag is lost somewhere in internet limbo....i am not having the best luck with this build, except for the quality of the utg products i've received so far. My bipod was camouflaged to match my .308, so i painted it flat black. I also painted the birch stock what i like to call "antique black" it's my own version of a well-worn military rifle that i "age" with wide random flat black streaks, a dusting overall with flat black, then hand rubbing to blend and smooth the finish. I'll post a pic of it in a few minutes. I also have installed a rear sling stud in preparation for my leather sling when the rail arrives.
The rifle is now wearing a new generation utg compact scope. waiting is killing me...

              Here it is so far:

              and before refinish:

I also have a 70's vintage remington 581 i finished this way when the original finish began to deteriorate from various conditions while moving around in the military. I like the way it works...durable, well-worn looking and gains character if it gets scratched, which my guns all do.
