    Pick up 15-22 tomorrow

Needless to say I am more than a bit excited. Already have a fair idea of what I am going to do with the rifle, and it has been a while since I was this excited about picking up a gun. Not to mention the fact that I might be starting paperwork on a GSG 1911 as well.

As for the 15-22, I already have a magpul RVG, going to order either the MOE or possibly the ACS stock. Having a hard time deciding. Have a few compact scopes I am looking at that will get mounted in a quick release base. 4 short 10 rd mags should be here by friday and I will be looking to get a set of 4 25 round mags with the 10rd restrictors. Only thing I cant decide on is if I want to spend the money on a bipod or not.

You will like the rifle. I ditched my 3 pseudo 25 round mags for it. I only use the 10 round short mags now. IMO, the fake 25 rounders are super lame and serve no useful purpose. They would likely prohibit the use of a bipod too. My advice is to skip the fake 25 round mags, you will regret wasting the money.

I am talking about actual 25rd mags. They make a plastic restrictor that goes inside the spring to prevent the follower from going past 10 rounds, but can be removed if you ever travel to a free state and want to use them at full capacity there and gives me a legal way to use the "rebuild kits". I already have 2 of the "fake" 10/25 mags for it and am selling those because based on all the pictures they do interfere with using a bipod.

Gotcha... I have not seen any of the S&W 25 round rebuild kits, though it would not do my any good since I have no place out of state to go shoot anyway.

You will enjoy the rifle. I have have mine for about a year and a half and it goes with me on nearly all range trips.

Check out 44mag.com. It was where I was able to find the short mags and they will disassemble the high caps to ship them to CA, if you wanted them. I think Exile Machine does the same and they don't charge you extra to disassemble. If you were going to order I would check with both because 44mag has $5 shipping, might be worth the extra $1.50 disassembly per mag if you were going to order a few.

They sell the mag restrictors for the full capacity magazines. Figure its perfect for me. 8 ten round mags in CA and when I go to Scottsdale I have 4 25 round mags and never have to leave any "kits" disassembled because I always worry about a bag tearing and loosing a part.
