mp15-22 trigger kits?

I'm looking for a smoother and lighter trigger for my 15-22. Anyone know of any aftermarket upgrades I could buy to achieve this?

i sent my trigger to Bill Springfield at http://www.triggerwork.net/. he did his thing to it for 39 bucks and round trip it took about a week to get it done. it has a VERY crisp break with absolutely no creep. i'm not completely familiar with the S&W trigger assembly so i'm not sure if it's the same as a regular AR trigger but it may be worth looking into to check to see if he can work his magic on that trigger.

You can use a regular AR-15 trigger kit with the 15-22. I put a RRA 2stage in my buddies and its friggin awesome. You can usually find them for less than $100 if you look around.

I didn't know they were interchangable with an ar. Thanks for the info, that just made finding a trigger that much easier

I had some JP yellow springs laying around so I put them in. Lightened up the trigger and reliability is the same.

I've been thinking seriously about putting a Geissele SSA in mine since I have them in my AR builds but my M&P15-22 came with a surprisingly good trigger. As far as having the stock trigger smoothed out many are case hardened and wear out fast after the hard surface is stoned off.

Oh my gosh!!! $170 per rifle... I would have to re-fi my house to pay for all that!

When I got mine, the trigger felt like sand paper and took what seemed forever to release. I tried polishing and cycling the FCG through over 1000 cycles to no avail. I ordered a new CST FCG. Installed using the original springs, the problem was solved for about $35.00.
