    Gangster Lean

I have a Ruger MK III 22/45 that I decided to add a Truglo Recticle Red Dot scope. I am using the factory Weaver mount and when I install the scope it leans to the left. Needless to say, it looks like...

The problem seems to that the holes drilled on the top of the receiver and just a hair to the left. Because the receiver is round and not flat at the top the error is exaggerated. I thought about elongating the hole on the Weaver mount but don't think that would work because the mount won't sit true to the barrel.

Long story short, I am ready to call Ruger but I thought I would hit up my fellow CG'ers to see if anyone else has had this problem.

Post a picture from the rear so we can see. I know my upper sometimes rotated when putting it back together but the bolt take down pin should correct that.

Kind of hard to tell the misalignment. Hope this helps.

        22/45

I spoke with Ruger and they asked for me to ship the gun to them which I did. I will let everyone know what transpires.

BTW, the person who wrote about LCI eliminating extraction probs on a MK III 22/45 was dead on. This fixed the 20% rate of extraction failures that I was experiencing. Thanks
