    Need help identifying something

I have had a little 22 plinker since I have been a kid. I don't know what kind of rifle it is but there is something that APPEARS to be a rail mount?

Take a look at these photos for reference...any help is appreciated.

You're not making it easy to identify with these two photos, but I'm pretty sure it's a Romanian M69 trainer. The "rail" is a residual from the manufacturing process, and some .22 rings will fit it and some won't. The factory sight mounts are non-standard, so if you don't like the open sights, a scope is your next best move.

The rifles can have pretty nasty triggers, but good accuracy is possible with careful trigger control. Or do a trigger job. Google has lots of info on these.

I can take a few pictures of anything else you'd think would help identify it. I am mainly working at figuring out what kind of scope I can put on this thing.
