Pink Crickett at Burro Canyon

Last week my 6 year old daughter ask me " when are you taking me shooting?". Off to Burro Canyon we went (yesterday). She shot between 100-150 rounds through her Crickett, 10 rounds through my Ruger 22/45. She even ask if she could try my Ar15 and my K31. I let her shoot the Ar15, she fired 10 rounds. I was a great bonding time with her.
BTW: Burro's staff was great and always been happy on my visits there.




It took her awhile to get used to shooting with both eyes using the red dot.

That is awesome. Nothing beat's Father, Daughter bonding time. I hope to be doing that in a few years with my daughter too. I've got a pink 10/22 lined up for her already and I think I might have to add that cricket too.

I was just getting done shooting on the pistol range as you guys were unloading your gear. Saw the little girl and the small pink rifle case and knew there had to be a pink Cricket inside.

Pink Crickett's Rock. There's a pink Crickett and a pink 10/22 in my safe waiting for a certain little lady (age 6) to show me she's ready. She hasn't been a good listener lately. My grandson is 8 and has been shooting since he was five.

Earlier this year I was able to get three 10/22's from Turners with consecutive serial numbers for my grandkids. I put a pink Hogue Overmold stock on the one for my granddaughter.

A 10/22 will be her next rifle....... I'm not sure if it'll be pink, she has two smaller brothers . Each brother will get their own Crickett (not pink of course ) when they're ready.
The Crickett is a great rifle! I think I paid a little over $100. It's a pretty accurate rifle.

Hello Kitty?

I love the "Hello Kitty" effect. I used a pink crickett to get my wife shooting. She shot it so much she wore the pink off of the stock!

She's a working progress. I still had to remind her to keep her finger of the trigger from time to time. But this time her and I where both happy to see her hit paper. She was hitting the 12" circle 70% at the start..... got worst as she lost interest and got tired .

How did the rifle shoot? I bought one for my son and it shoots a couple inches high at 50yds. There in no more adjustment left in the sight.
