I was at the Ione range verifying the Cant was fixed with the front sight base that Sig hogged out a small notch on the slot they milled for the set screw to secure the fake gas block to the barrel.
Anyways, I was using the following ammo and had the same problem.
Every so often, 5th to 8th shot on a new reloaded 10 round mag.
I would pull the trigger and the rifle would go bang and then my receiver would be full of smoke from the case that was just fired. Smoke pouring out of the trigger group etc.
The case ejected and the bullet did exit the barrel. anyone know whats going on here?
I used the following ammo:
CCI Blazers
Winchester Wildcats
Federal Walmart Bulk pack copper wash.
The rifle has about 400 rounds through it at this point.
Prior to returning it to Sig Arms for repair, I did experience 1 jam with the CCI Blazer and the shell was crushed but did not experience it on the 2nd outting.
