So went by turners yesterday in rancho and the marlin 795 looks like quite a good deal i am thinking i might get it but the length of pull feels a little short for me.. any suggestions? thanks

You can always get an after market stock, or just add a recoil buffer pad to add length. Those are the only alternatives I'm aware of.If you are wondering if you can get a LTC in Riverside County: THE ANSWER IS YES!

I mainly hunt and plink with 22s. I like the Marlin 60 better for that. with the tube magasine when I carry it slung over my shoulder theres no magasine to poke you. the down side is its more difficult to unload before putting it into the truck to move from one place to another. thats where the box magasines come into there own. I like the marlins better as I dont customise them. they seem more accurate right out of the box. but my son who likes to build is into 10 22s. Ive had both and liked them both but the marlin made more sense for my kind of shooting. just in the last couple of years there have been new accessorys available for the marlins. target triggers, stocks,etc. 795, 60, and 1022s are all good starters. just find the one you like the feel of best. PS before heading home you might ask if they will give you the sale price early. cant hurt. DRComment
