    50 yards? Come on, you can do that at 100 yards. The 17HMR is just inherently accurate.

      If( and by if I mean when) you get bored shooting little itty bitty groups move over to your buddies target and shoot the staples out.

            17HMR is affected by the slightest wind conditions. Doesn't take much for the 17 grain or 20 grain bullets to go off in a wind. In the right conditions 100 yards is not out of range for the 17HMR.
