Has anyone here used the Alexander arms 17 HMR upper reciever? Is it any good? Was it worth the money? Let me know what you think.

Alexander Arms makes some great stuff. They and volquartzen are the only two making stuff for the 17HMR as all other manufacturers have said that the round is dangerous in their rifles and they have pulled them.
The only knocks I have against the 17 in a AR is the weight (won't be a 5 lbs rifle if in an AR configurations) and the amount of ammo you will piss through. I say this as I tend to go through 1500 to 2000 rnds in three days (between shooting 223 and 22-250 when shooting prairie dogs. This is with a bolt action. I don't need help burning through more ammo at $8-10 per 50. -
