    Redhead Rimfire Scope

I took a chance and picked up a $49.99 Redhead (Bass Pro Shop House Brand) rimfire scope for my 10/22. It seems sturdily built, but I would appreciate any feedback from owners who might tell me how they like theirs (or dislike them).

I'd prefer to hear from folks who actually own and have used this line of rimfire scopes. I did a search prior to opening this thread and didn't see anything pertaining to these scopes.

    Thanks for reading...

Curious to hear your or anyone elses results. Here's my experience:

Last December I bought the cheaper Redhead Outlook scope for $30 to put on my 10/22. Out of the box, I was pleased- included rings, lens covers, and was nice & clear. First time out it took only about a few mags to get it sighted in at ~50 yards. The rest of the day I was doing as well if not better than a coworker who has a 77/22 bolt with more magnification. Second trip out a couple months later, the damn crosshair started to rotate clockwise after about 25 rounds. After that I took it back to Bass Pro and they gave me a refund. And I have yet to put a replacement on the gun...
