No, but my Vortex Sparc performed flawlessly until last week. I couldn't turn it off anymore...

Anyway, I sent it in for warranty (lifetime) and they immediately sent me a brand new replacement! I was disappointed that it failed but am very happy with their service!!!

Bushnell TRS-25 red dot is awesome for the price. $80 from Amazon and there's also a $30 mail in rebate.

The Barskas are shoot or miss in their quality. Most budget red dots under $300 are. Either you get lucky or not. You just have to find the company with good aftersale support/warranty like the other reviewer who bought a Vortex. I use Primary Arms and thats one of the good companies.

Just think of the Barska as a disposable equipment if it breaks, hopefully it won't. I do have a $36 Tasco Red Dot from Walmart on my Ruger 10/22 and thats actually a very nice unit and has good reviews from a lot of users. If it breaks I know it just goes in the trash, not worth the hassle for repair.

My experience with less expensive electronic optics is this:
1 - They work, but they don't hold zero well, so you're constantly readjusting
2 - Something electronic fails and requires warranty repair
3 - They incur some physical damage due to rough handling

Barskas warranty is a joke. they wanted me to pay them 30 dollars to ship a scope and have them look at it just to determine if it was warranty work. That was half the price of the scope. I never will buy a cheap optic again. I could have put that money towards a good product. But what do you expect i guess.

Any red dot that costs less than $50 is suspect and even some between $50-$100 can be less than desirable.
