    Problem with AK-22

I've got an Armscor AK-22. Up until yesterday, I had been satisfied with it - Yesterday it started to fail to eject and crushing empties that it failed to eject - Also, even weirder,it started firing off 2 to 5 found bursts when I pressed the trigger once -perhaps in an earler life it was a real AK - If anyone has ideas as to how to fix it, let me know. Many thanks

Get in touch with Armscor and get it fixed through them. You have an "assault weapon" in the eyes of the law. Does onyone know if the RIA guys in Nevada handle warranty work for these rifles as well?

I think I would go with a Telecaster. The bolt on neck would be the strongest to deal with terrorist zombies. I know most folks will say Strat, but I think the trem system is unreliable.
I mean, who needs to dive bomb when SHTF? That only happens in movies.

I had one of these. They work pretty well until they get dirty.
Take it completely apart and clean it well.
Taking it apart the first time is a bit of a chore, but once you do the next time will be a lot easier.

Yes, ignore all the "AKs don't need to be cleaned" folks and clean it.

Lol ^ and what makes you think that this is a real AK action?

Op, if u are getting burst fire out of it, you need to take it apart and get it to a smith ASAP, otherwise you could face some serious trouble

mine sheared off the sear when I tried to release the stupid bolt hold open/safety, and ruined what had been, up to that point, one of the most fun and accurate .22 carbines I've ever had.needless to say, I was a little upset. long story short, I contacted Ivan at Armscor, and he said ''send it back, we'll fix it''! fast forward a cupla three weeks later, my dealer gets a package for me....a brand NEW AK22!! those guys don't mess around, and they stand behind thier product [even the cheap ones] 100%. now at the range I avoid the hold open/safety, and use an orange plastic chamber safety flag, from Brownells.

Well that's because it's absolutely nothing like a real AK. What, this 22 AK has a gas piston, ha, no, that gas tube is just for looks.

Anyone who cares about their firearms should clean them, it just common sense and one of the first things I leaned growing up. I clean my AKs every time after shooting them. The platform is so easy to field strip and clean, there's no excuses not to.

That 2-5 rnd burst is really worrying though, hope it's resolved with the cleaning and not a manufacturer's defect.
