Marlin Model 60 Semi-auto 22 trigger assembly needed. I am rebuilding my fathers Model 60 Moarlin and the trigger assy is broke and frame came apart and pieces went flying. Gun is great shape, need complete trigger assembly. Marlin no longer supports this trigger assembly. Please PM me.

The older 60 needs a feed thoat conversion. If you have all the parts it's not that hard to put back together. If you local I can put it back together for you, unless you are talking about the trigger itself, then just buy a new one.

The DIP trigger is a very good product. Do you know if your Model 60 has the older style or newer style trigger guard? One quick way to tell is if it has the "last shot hold open" lever. If it has this, it's the newer style, and the DIP trigger will work without any mods. If it's the older style, you'll either have to find an original trigger guard, modify your existing stock to accept the DIP trigger, or pick up a different stock (I like Boyd's stocks).

I just rebuilt a mod 60 and the parts are much cheaper at Brownells.

This may or may not be the complete assembly. It is for the older style Model 60 without the bolt hold-open feature (the 18-shot model). For the newer model (15-shot), look here:

It should go without saying, do not disassemble the action assembly. They are not made to be disassembled except by a gunsmith. You don't need to take them apart to clean the firearm.

It sounds like some of those springs got away from you and the look of all that stuff is putting you off. It does look complex, but it's not so bad with good directions.

Preference would have been to not remove a pin holding that phenolic / plastic part which broken into pieces after 40+ years (which Marlin sent me a replacement for free) father owned this rifle. Once that pin came out, the whole assy decided get loose and parts dislodged beyond my knowledge to mitigate.

That first hhtp to the older style assy mechanism is the one I needed and less than $40 with shipping was very acceptable to me to get this rifle operational again.

I've seen the actions for Model 60's on ebay before, and usually more than $40. You'll have to know the age of the rifle when deciding on actions, as Marlin changed the design of things when hey introduced the "Last-Shot-Hold-Open." Year of manufacture can be determined by subtracting the first 2 digits of the serial number from 100 (so if it starts with 20, it was made in 1980).

I looked for months before I finally found one from a guy on rimfirecentral.com. He had about 6-7 left. Sorry, don't remember his username. Cost $45 + shipping. Sent my original to a guy to do a trigger job and the SOB stole it. He was in Tenessee so taking legal action would have cost 20 times more than it was worth. Lesson learned. Good luck on your search.
