    .17 HMR semi-auto pistols?

Does anyone have any info on a good semi auto .17 pistol? Ive been looking online but cant seem to find any.

I have a browning buckmark with the tactical solutions slide/barrel on it and i love to shoot it. Think that the .17 hmr would be pretty fun in a semi auto pistol.

    Thanks

17HMR is problematic in semi-autos. It has a peaky pressure curve that makes it hard to design a safe, reliable semi-auto. Most, if not all, 17HMR semi-auto rifles are now discontinued, and some have been pulled back by the Mfg. Other than some niche manufacturer like Excel Arms, I don't think anyone has worked on a 17HMR pistol.

Have shot this and while fun, really not built very well. They leave a lot to be desired in fit and finish on the thing.

I agree with Caldude, from what I've read, I'd stay away from 17hmr semi autos There's a reason most have been recalled and discontinued. Love my 17 bolt gun though.

here's the links for their rifles, seems they still have the 17HMR, I know they used to make a semi auto pistol also but you are talking big bucks. You can always get an Excel Arms MP22 and convert to 17HMR
