    bolt release on a mark3

I just did the mag disconect on my 22/45 was easy
now I'm looking into doing the bolt release so that I can
just pull the bolt back on a loaded mag instead of using
The bolt release. I found thay some have taken the springand plunger
of and this has work for them it sounds easy has anyone done
this or is their onother way thanks

The slingshot mod doesnt always work by pulling the bolt back. There are two diy remedies to resolve this problem by adding a spring. The first link is with a torsion spring without having to alter the bolt release.
It is very easy to make a torsion spring for the slingshot mod on the Ruger 22/45 MKIII. It is a "drop-in" mod that doesn't require any drilling or modification to the pistol except removing the detent spring and pin from the bolt stop assembly. The torsion spring is installed around the trigger...

This one requires alteration to bolt stop lever and addition of spring.

General info on the slingshot mod.
