    mini 1911 by Llama...

    Hey all,

I have a chance to purchase this unique little pistol but there is a problem with it. It slam fires!
Does anyone here have experience with this pistol or better yet this brand?

I've looked online and most I can find is it could be as old as 56 years or young as just 15.
Any help would be great. Thanks

There are some good write ups on the high road. My experience with a .22 and .380 Llama was just the opposite. Horable little pistols that looked cool. Neither would ever fire a full magazine without jamming. I really wanted to like them. The mini 1911 frame with a vented rib was just cool looking but they were so unreliable that they fell into my Jennings/Raven catagory: Avoid at all costs.
