Older Browning Model 156 .22 Rifle

I have a 1962 era Browning Mod. 156, .22 semi auto long rifle that the magazine assembly broke off at the receiver. Browning stopped making this model rifle after 1972 (newer models now made in Japan) and no longer make the parts to repair them.

Anyone else have any similar problems or know where I can purchase any aftermarket parts.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

This is the first place to start.

they have SO MANY parts for so many guns it is insane. Try here first, if not come back to this thread and report. There are more sights but this is the best one
