    Ruger SP101-22 on roster

Well I got up this morning and did my usual CA. roster check and there it was KSP-242-8 SP101-22. Now the wait begins for the gun stores to get them. I just hope it's at a affordable price because I really would like to have one.

Sweet, time to wait for the street price. Funny how they added the Single Ten to the roster when it's already exempt for being a single action revolver.

Yeah, I noticed that also and had the same thought. I hope Ruger didn't pay for testing and the listing fee unless it really isn't a single action. I called my wholesaler to see if they have received any yet and he should be calling back soon.

Very good! In my area they ( new roster guns) seem to carry a premium for a while. GSG 1911 was in my local shop last week at 499. I'll wait.

SP101 - is this the same frame as their 38/357? I might have to get one of those too...to bad they don't make a nifty package.

When I got the announcement from Ruger about their "new" SP101 in 22lr, I emailed them and said that's great! Now all you have to do is make it in 22mag and get in on the CA Roster, then I'd be really interested. Funny, I haven't heard back from them......yet!

It's times like this I'm proud to own Ruger firearms.

Yes, same frame as the SP101. So far the wholesalers I deal with have had some but they are all allocated so we FFLs have to wait also. Some will have to wait longer then others or until Ruger get enough to ship more then 10 or 20 to a wholesaler.

And to let every body know Turners is taking preorders at a price of $559 + tax and dros. I ordered mine through Tom over at Riverside Magnum Range for just a little over $500 + tax and dros.

Congrats, our serial numbers are only 40 apart. I had mine at the range last week. Tried 3 different rounds, Remington Golden Bullet, CCI Blazer and Wolf Match. Extraction was good with the Remington, a little tight with the CCI when the cylinder was hot, and very bad with the Wolf Match. I had to punch out the Wolf with a small screwdriver everytime. I even alternated Wolf and CCI and only had to punch out the Wolf. Accuracy was really good with the Wolf though. Overall, accuracy was good, I didn't have any issues with the forcing cone that was reported on the early production versions. The trigger pull is a little heavy in SA and really heavy in DA, enough to open up your groups. Overall, I like it better than the S&W 63 I sold to buy the SP101.
