Naa mini magnum

I just picked one up I am new to the 22magnum any ammo suggestions I've been looking at the remington v max ballistic tip also any input on the little naa revolver would help

Both are specifically made for short barrel handguns. If you use standard .22 magnum ammunition designed for rifle length barrels, you will loose quite a bit of velocity.

I recently picked up several boxes of the Hornady. While I had no way to measure velocity, it worked like a champ out of my four inch barrel S&W 651 revolver.

I really think that out of such a tiny little barrel, the choice of ammo isnt going to matter at all. Yes some ammo makers will claim their brand is better and can "maintain" higher velocities than "brand-X" out of a shorter barreled weapon. However, the difference in velocities versus actual bullet performance amoungst the different brands is miniscule at best.

Out of a tiny "flea" gun, i would just go with the heaviest bullet available off the retailer's shelf.

Just my .02cents worth of worthless opinion.

I've shot a bunch of different rounds out of mine...never really thought about maintaining velocity, since it's a 1 1/8" barrel! It shoots high with the magnums, low with the lr's, and I seem to be the only person that can hit a water bottle at 10 feet with it. Great fun!
