      Never seen it. A little pricey for "plinking" ammo.

          Thought the price was a little high until I realized it is a 1000 rounds not 500.

            Tried some of this stuff the other day. Good ammo, the box contains 2 500-packs. Shot straight in a Savage and a 10/22. 40 grain, not 36 and still good velocity, comparable to Mini-Mags I believe.

              It's the Winchester equivalent of CCI .22 Tactical, intended for "tacticool" .22s semiautos.

                Walmart is asking too much for this brand. Winchester is a good name brand but pricey like the others have said. OH well have fun with them.

                This is why I can't go shooting all the time like I use too. Everything is expensive these days.

                  I love how "expensive" .22lr cost less than $.05/round and we complain about it.

                  Oh yeah! Sooo sick and tired of people whining about Tactical 22's. Dudes get over it! You're not going to like all types of guns!!!! Some folks love them, and it gets them out to the range. Your 49 years old 10/22 was "tacticool" when it first came out back in 1964! I'm sure there were people whining about them back then as well.

                    My GSG 1911 and my Marlin 795 doesnt like this ammo. Alot of FTF and FTE for me. And thats with freshly cleaned weapons.

                      black = tactical

                      Looks like winchester marketing is playing up to the tactical crowd. Appears like the only difference is black coating on the copper plated bullet.
