Remington 597 Trigger Upgrade

Im looking to upgrade my trigger assemby on my 597.

My question is what Poundage would be the most ideal. The Rifle is used only for long range target shooting.

I would think the lightest you could deal with the safest. Lighter the pull the less deflection of your aim.

I saw your website you provided as s sample and I'm sure it must be the bomb but I think the price for a 22 rifle is too high. I'd rather use that kind of money for a good barrel instead.

The trigger mechanism on the 597 is very simple. Using a little moly paste on the sear is all you need. On my 597 that's what I did and with time well spent shooting it well it has developed it's own trigger job! Consider it.
