I was at my local gunstore, and look what happened. I have seen plenty of the 317's around, but none of these. Single action pull is perfect, double action is heavy, so I might get a trigger job done. Perfect size for my son.

Very nice! I do enjoy my original M63 no dash, but these new ones are nice with the thicker barrel, but i guess it wouldn't make it as light weight and handy as the original but more so than the M617. Have you heard about the SP101 from Ruger in .22LR that just came out?sigpicHandguns/Shotguns/RiflesComment

What a great .22 - one of my all time favorites. Sold mine years ago and regretted it ever since and just have gotten around to replacing it. I shot S&W centerfires forever, so the rimfire J-frame was a natural choice for me. I envy you... enjoy it (both of you!)
