10/22 Carbine just put in jail

I did an NRA First Steps rifle class this morning at Reed's in Santa Clara where Bill Tidwell was the instructor. It was a great time. After class I purchased a 10/22 carbine 1151. It will go well with the 22/45 I just got out of jail Sept 7th.

Interesting part of the class was when I was firing an AR style 22. The smell of the exhaust gases brought me back to the days I used to fire my M16 and M60 in the early 70's. Fortunately I was stationed in Germany fighting the cold war so no one was shooting back at the time.

rimfire firearms can be very addicting, be warned

Yeah,, rimfire's are very addictive, its tough to walk by a nice 10/22 at a gunshow without buying it. My first rifle was a 5 digit 10/22 and now it has 4 roomies as well as a few bolt action .22 from CMP!

It might have been. I should have paid more attention to the make. I was having too much fun shooting it!
