    Need some Recommendation

I have few 10/22 and one GSG522 and had a Sig522 before too. I love .22LR. Anyway, I am looking for a nice bolt action .22LR that is accurate out of the box. I am looking mostly bench shooting and slight hunting. Any help would be greatly appreciated...

In the mid price range get a CZ. Lots of options. What is your price range?

You would be really happy with one - I don't think many CZ owners even give up theirs to sell.

Unless you find a sale you will pay near 500 out the door for a decent 452 and maybe a little more for a 455. Get the 452. The American 452 stock will take a scope and is a decent cross hunt/bench rifle. It has 3/8th dovetail for scope mounting and BKL makes good rings for it. Pay about the same for a fixed power scope of between 18 and 24 and you are set.

            go here http://www.whittakerguns.com/
then to new rimfires plenty of options in both the 452 line up and the newer 455 line up

            here is another good option

I currently have 4 CZ rimfire rifles so yes I am a fan

O ya and DO NOT go with a fixed power scope for the use you are describing
higher magnification fixed power scopes are at home on the bench or at the range not so much trying to take a rabbit or squirrel

I would suggest something like the Weaver V-24 for your needs

O ya do not forget to check out the CZ section at Rimfirecentral.com
it is very active and very helpful and yours truly is on there

+one on the 452. They are sweet. I wouldn't overlook the used market either though. You can find 7 series and 8 series Marlins in near perfect condition for less than $250 on a regular basis. I don't know who said it first, but it's true... if you want to describe guns like people then, the Marlin is the plain, heavy-set kid who turns out to be a gifted athlete. No one ever complained about their accuracy, just their looks. Not as good as the CZ for LONG shooting sessions at the bench, but it will hang with it until enough heat makes the difference in the barrel weights start to show.
9mm and 45acp are equally lousy. There's not a dime's worth of difference in REAL terminal ballistics. Get over it.
