My New LTR Rifle

I wanted to share some photo's of my new Liberty Training Rifle (LTR). It is based off of a new Ruger 10/22 with a Mannlicher stock. I always wanted a Mannlicher stocked 10/22 so when I found them for sale on Budsgunshop I bought one. I added the Tech Sights today and will have to order a new GI web sling as the sling studs on the rifle are for a 1" sling and the GI sling I ordered is 1 1/4".

I plan on taking it out to the range on Saturday to sight it in. I will then take it to the next Appleseed shoot I can find locally and get my riflemans patch with it.

I want to thank Calguns member Halifax for handling the transfer from Buds. Anyone looking for an FFL for transfers in Northern California should give Halifax a holler, he is top notch and a good guy.

I'll let you guys know how she shoots when I get back from the range on Saturday.
