10/22 PC adj. sear and hammer issue

Hello all, I just installed a power custom adjustable sear and hammer set and I have it working. EXCEPT that when I hold the trigger down and pull and release the bolt, the hammer follows the bolt and doesn't stay down like it should. I think it has to do with the sear and disconnector. I have tried to screw the set screw in the sear all the way in, and all that does is make it so the trigger doesn't release the hammer. I also tried it the other way (loosen it fully) and the hammer won't release. I tried leaving the set crew out of the sear and it also won't release the hammer. Please tell me how to fix it so it doesn't go into full auto at the range!!!
