    Help with new GSG 1911 please!

    So I dont know if i am doing something wrong or did i just get a bad gun with a bad extractor....Watch and let me know if there is something I dont know!!! I just got it today and I wanted to take it out tomorrow

    I wouldn't be doing that with live rimfire ammo in my house but thats just me..

    I don't think that full cartridges are a good test of an extractor, the weight of an empty case is significantly lighter. Take it to the range and see how it performs, racking the slide manually is pretty slow compared to recoil doing it imo

      Mine does that too, but not nearly as often as yours. When racking the slide at home I get the same results that you do.

      After putting over 1K through the GSG, I have never had this issue come up while actually shooting. My guess is that the cartridge is lighter after it is fired, therefore during shooting these issues don't come up.

      YMMV.

        Take it to the range and shoot it. There may be a break in period. To judge the ejection, use spent rounds. Or go to the range.
