I'm new to rimfire and I'm considdering buying the S&W MP 15-22 (because the wife found out that I spend approx. $300/month on ammo).
I've been reviewing the flow chart for legal rifles etc. Etc. But I just wanted to make sure I'm getting this right.
1) I don't have to worry about a bullet button and/or "evil features" as it is "rimfire" rifle and therefore not subject to the Assault weapons definition, right?
2) can I have .22 magazines for that rifle that hold more than 10 rounds? Or is that still a no-no?
3) are there any other restriction (that now apply, or no longer apply) that I should be aware of as I'm going from centerfire rifles into rimfire?
Any input would be much appreciated!
