What could have happen?

I ordered a butler creek carbon fiber barrel for my 10 22. The package arrived and was the correct packaging (22LR box checked) of what i ordered. However, as I was going to install it I noticed some very small markings. It reads "22WMR - ONLY". My question is what would, or could, have happen if I didnt see that and shot the 22LR through that barrel?

It would have fired fine, not recomended, but it would not have blown up or anything.

Just a huge jump to the rifling really. Would reduce accuracy, I think. No catastrophic failures unless a bullet managed to turn itself sideways in the chamber.

I thought that WMR had a larger case but I was wrong, they are just longer; diameter appears to be the same between WMR and 22 LR.
