Marlin 60 trigger feel

Is the marlin 60 trigger any better than a 795? I know it's basically the same trigger group as the 795 but I remember renting a 60 at the range a while back and the trigger felt a lot more lighter and smoother than my 795. Just wondering.

The rental probably was well used thus making the trigger smoother.

I did some polishing but didn't cut the hammer spring or do the floppy disk mod.
