Anybody using this scope with their 10/22?

Wondering how you like it and how far do you shoot with it? I am looking to zero it at 25 meters, any input would be appreciated.

10/22 really is near max at about 100 yards.
4x is fine for the usual 25-50-75 yard stuff.
Some of the compacts have a very limited range of eye relief so perhaps this one addresses that problem.

Most scopes used on a 10/22 will have 3.25" to 3.75" eye relief. So stock makers and Ruger have set things up for the average person with this in mind. This scope has a ER of about 5.5". Will you be comfortable with that with a normal stock and still get the scope to mount on the receiver rail. You might have to mount it out on the barrel. It could end up half and half how will you handle that.
This looks fine if you have lots of options and rail length for a Scout type set up. Most common classic 10/22s aren't set up for this. You might have a tactical 10/22 and it would fit on it and work fine, but I would not consider this scope for a classic stocked 10/22, Stick it out there on a AR pattern 10/22 rifle Scout stye and have fun.

I don't have that one but this one (4x40) on my Winchester Wildcat rifle for two years http://leapers.com/prod_detail.php?m...us=&mtrack=1m2

I like mine, holds zero, good knobs, 35 yd parallax, good glass, very good quality for the price and I can shoot to 100yds, the red/green illumination I never use.

Yes, mine is a tactical setup, and the current scope I have on there right now is also a 4x32 but it is so short, I can't get a good cheeckweld, here is a pic.

It worked great when it was on the carry handle on my AR, but not so good on my 10/22.

Yup, gotta scope on mines. I've shot out to 300 yards with it. The scope bottoms out though. Heres a vid of my wifes stock 10/22 with a simmons scope shooting 250 yards:

fun times... haha hardly get to do that now thou.

Thanks for the pics. Your problem could be that you are only half tactical. Your stock is for use with iron sights. This stock will not be optimum for a scope of any ER. Get a stock that when your cheek is on the stock, your eye is in line with the scope and you will have better luck.

Not in the picture, but I have a Blackhawk cheekpad that lifts my sight to the leve of the scope that is mounted now, it is just too far away.

                  Simmons 22mag 4x.

Won't break the bank. On sale near$20 at times.

ER is perfect so is zero hold and 4x .

I think the best all around scope is the Weaver 3-9x32 A/O with an adjustable forward objective that lets you set critical focus for the exact distance you shoot. 100 yards or less this gets it done for me.

mine came with a tasco 3x9 its cool but the rail makes using the iron sights useless

                        Using one with no problems

One of my 10/22's is equipped with a short style Leaper's. I generally use it for head-shots out to 50 yards with no compensation. It still has adequate power for Crows at 75, but have to compensate for drop. My #3 daughter can unload the 10 rd mag at 50 yards on the 2" plate on her swinger target. Takes her just over 3 seconds. That good enough accuracy?
9mm and 45acp are equally lousy. There's not a dime's worth of difference in REAL terminal ballistics. Get over it.
